YGD help NHS and Ryedale Council promote Fit4Fun children’s activity programme

26 July 2010 No Comment

We have just completed a poster design project for the NHS, who along with Ryedale District Council, have set up an activity programme to keep school children active over the summer holidays. The Fit4Fun programme is aimed at children aged 12-16, and is designed to provide them with them with the regular exercise that they may otherwise be missing over the 6 week break.

The poster needed to be eye-catching and appeal to both boys and girls. The main activity of the Fit4Fun programme is a highly paced game called Rock-It-Ball. Rock-It-Ball is a new, fast-moving ball sport which was developed in our very own county, North Yorkshire in 2005. We created an illustration of a Rock-It_Ball player, and used the striking colour combination of blue and orange to make the poster jump out, and encourage as many children as possible to sign up and stay fit and healthy over the holidays.
