Google celebrates Pac-Man’s 30th birthday with interactive google doodle

21 May 2010 One Comment

Google is today using one of it’s google doodles to celebrate the 30th Birthday of Pac-Man by NAMCO BANDAI Games inc. Normally this would not warrant it’s own article on the York Graphic Designers website, but it is (I think) the first interactive (flash based) google doodle. After several goes munching the dots and dodging the ghosts I had completely forgotten what had I originally intended to search for, oh well best have another go then.

I loved pac-man and have spent most of the day playing it. I wonder how much time worldwide was wasted with people playing this. More please Google.
